The prosecutor in charge of the case, Inspector Abass Abayomi said the defendant committed the offence on the 9th of January 2017 at UBA’s 12/14 Broad Street Lagos Island branch, during work hours. Abbass added that Akanni forged the signature of one Ogalla Chizoba before stealing N6million from the account. The customer notified the bank when he saw the strange alert.
